MATT MOORE

Matt Moore has worked with Collaborative Services for Change since 2018. He entered the therapy field after discovering a deep sense of purpose and fulfillment in helping others through social work. He specializes in cognitive behavioral therapy, with an emphasis on supporting clients as they process personal trauma and explore the root causes of maladaptive thoughts, emotions, and behaviors.
He has experience working with a diverse range of clients, from adolescents to older adults. He takes a holistic, client-centered approach that considers both the environments clients come from and the circumstances they currently live within. His goal is to help individuals develop practical skills and tools to improve day-to-day functioning, increase self-awareness, and cultivate a sense of meaning and purpose in their lives.
Outside of his professional work, he is grounded by his strong connection to family and personal relationships. He enjoys sports, film, and exercise as ways to decompress and maintain balance. He is energized by learning from others, discovering new books, and exploring new activities, and he finds purpose in social justice efforts and advocating for underserved communities.
